削果的老人

削果的老人

In hushed sidelight, an elder sits peeling fruit; mellow watercolor and precise line hold the years’ creases and the knife’s poised instant in a scene of steadied human calm.

Composed as a half-length profile, the gray‑blue jacket and white apron set a restrained cool–warm balance, while the fruit bowl on the table and the reddish fruit in hand provide the warm focal notes. Transparent watercolor is built in measured layers: wrinkles of skin, veins on the hand, and the turns of fabric are stated with clear contours and calm shadows. The reserved background amplifies the rhythm of the gesture and a quiet breath, turning the moment before blade meets peel into a plain yet attentive poetry of daily life.
