芙蓉花韵
Between cool blue‑greens and pale violets, the hibiscus blooms with faceted light—crystalline and serene.
Layered, opaque flat color shapes carve the petal planes and the serrated leaf edges, while deep‑green shadows give the foliage relief. The blooms open in measured sequence: one fully open at center, with buds and side petals to either side; interlacing stems rise on a diagonal to create a decorative rhythm. A rubbed ground of aqua and gray‑violet evokes a stony texture, cooling the palette and deepening the calm. The work balances observed realism with graphic abbreviation, the whites lifted by icy blues like the clarity of early morning.
